Yes. SmartDocuments templates can, of course, include free-text input fields.
These provide users with the flexibility to enter individual content, for example for justifications, descriptions, comments, or additional information. During template design, it can be defined how much text users are allowed to enter, either through a predefined number of lines or with no character limit at all. In addition, template designers can specify in advance how the entered text should be formatted, including aspects such as font type, font size, and styling. If the template designer prefers to leave these choices open, formatting options can also be made available to end users through additional prompts during document generation. This makes it possible to integrate free-text content into document creation in a controlled and structured manner, while still providing users with the flexibility they need to create individualized documents.
